 KSB Inc. is a non-union facility located five minutes from Richmond Virginia International Airport. We welcome any customers to visit while their pump is being disassembled, inspected, repaired, and re-assembled. Cameras are welcome. Standard personal protective equipment is required for visitors to the Repair Shop. Engineers are on staff to discuss failure modes, causes, and repair procedures. KSB Richmond Repair Shop and Shipping/Receiving are open 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, Monday - Friday. |
Our Repair Services: Over 30,000 sq. ft. fully equipped Repair Shop located in Richmond, Virginia Equipment: • One 15 ton and one 11 ton overhead full bay cranes, workstation located jib and boom cranes • Schenck Trebel fully computerized dual plane dynamic high speed balance machine • Modern machining center with multiple engine lathes, VTL, milling machines, key-seating, automated non-destructive glass bead blasting center Services: • Highly trained and experienced technicians specializing in close tolerance precision rotating equipment repairs and upgrades • Metal fabrication, sheet, plate, structural members, piping • Fast turnaround off-site shaft re-chroming and precision cylindrical grinding • Fast turnaround submersible pump electrical motor voltage changes, and off-site rewinds, clean and bake, VPI re-application • On hand inventory of genuine KSB-OEM spare parts for KSB pumping products • Dedicated, insured, straight through rush pick up and delivery of your KSB pump with closed van/FB equipment is available for fastest turn around cycle. Specialty Services: • Welding by MIG, TIG, SMAW, stainless, carbon and specialized alloys • 16,000 gallon calibrated, computerized and certified in ground submersible pump test pit (up to 20 inch pump/motors) • Precision ultra-fine alignment using Laser Equipment for drivers, gear boxes, fluid couplings • Specialized work centers and special custom tooling for specific pump product lines |
